Original creations by art faculty are on exhibit at the NAU Art Museum.

The 2009 School of Art Faculty Exhibition celebrates the artistic talents teaching on campus with paintings, sculptures, mixed media installations, ceramics and jewelry.

The public is welcome to an opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb 12. The exhibit, sponsored by the NAU Art Museum, runs through March 28.

It features paintings by Helaine McLainBarbara Sheeley and Chris Taylor; ceramics by Don BendelJason HessPaula Rice and Steven Schaeffer; sculptures by James O’HaraBrian PainterNancy Reynolds and Curtis Smith; printmaking by David Williams and Lynne Wright; jewelry by Joe CornettMilly Haeuptle and J. Star Yardley and an installation by Shawn Skabelund.
