Employees who step up to contribute to University Advancement’s third annual Employee Giving Campaign will have a gift in the bag. Participants will receive a reusable lunch bag and a coupon for a free yogurt parfait at The Garden Toss in the University Union.
Stephen Riggs, director of the NAU Fund, said the percentage of employees who contributed last year increased 5 percent over the previous year, and he is asking faculty and staff for their support with a financial gift of any size to further NAU’s mission.
“The amount given is not as important as the number of employees who give,” Riggs said. “It is the participation that matters because it helps us when we ask NAU alumni for their support. Having a high percentage of internal support sends the message that we strongly believe in what we do and it, in turn, gives them the confidence to support NAU themselves.”
