Campus Recreation Services is again hosting its popular Lose to Gain program, challenging NAU employees to commit to a fitness program for the summer to help improve their health and wellness.

“When reflecting on their health and well-being, most people don’t pledge to gain,” said Amy Phillips, assistant director for Campus Recreation Services. “But that’s what this challenge is about—gaining self-esteem, confidence and motivation.”

The Lose to Gain program is designed specifically for employees to participate in 10 small-group training sessions at the Recreation Center from noon to 1 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, from June 3 to Aug. 9.

All NAU employees can participate—a Recreation Center membership is not necessary. But members will pay a discounted fee of $50 to participate in the program, and non-members will pay $70.

Reserve your spot by registering at the Recreation Center front desk in the Health and Learning Center. For information, email Amy.Phillips@nau.edu or call (928) 523-8019.
