Plant the seeds of tomorrow at CSAC’s 2019 Employee Mixer

Feb. 27, 2019

The Classified Staff Advisory Council (CSAC) at Northern Arizona University will hold its 2019 Employee Mixer from 1 to 4 p.m. March 28 in the DuBois Center ballroom, and they are looking for departments who want to have a display at the event. This year’s theme is “Planting the seeds of tomorrow.”

The mixer gives staff the opportunity to learn what support NAU provides to its community, as well as what other departments at the university do. All classified staff are invited to take advantage of the networking and fellowshipping opportunities being offered.

“The CSAC membership is thrilled to provide this annual event to give back to the Classified Staff and to show our appreciation of the hard work that they do,” said Judy Manor, assistant director of NAU Shuttle Services and president of CSAC.

The event includes door prizes, a 50/50 raffle that benefits CSAC’s staff book scholarship fund, peer recognition awards and department display tables advertising services, benefits and opportunities for staffers.

Departments interested in having a display table can reserve their spaces online before March 1. In addition to being informative, tables will be judged on the creativity of their displays and interactive elements; attendees can vote on the most entertaining table presentation, and the winning department will get a prize. There are a limited number of tables, which will be assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis.
