What is creative writing and where does it fit into a career? NAU can help.
The university’s Master’s of Fine Arts (MFA) program offers students the opportunity to explore and expand their writing abilities through essays, poetry and writing novels while incorporating the unique sense of place that is northern Arizona.
“NAU transitioned from a master’s of arts program to an MFA program in creative writing, and since then, we’ve become a distinctive program, one that is really invested in place,” said Nicole Walker, an English professor and director of the MFA program.
