Conference promotes women’s leadership in higher education

Leading with Legacy Finding our Purpose and our Passion

AWHE logoNAU is hosting a two-day conference in June that aims to develop professional purpose and passion among women who have careers in higher education.

Arizona Women in Higher Education has scheduled its annual conference for Thursday, June 19, and Friday, June 20, at NAU’s High Country Conference Center. The theme is “Leading with Legacy: Finding Our Purpose and Passion.”

The event’s opening speaker is Jan Gehler, president of Scottsdale Community College, and the conference agenda includes topics ranging from leadership development, to increasing work/life balance, to a mini life-coaching session. The interactive conference encourages networking with colleagues from across the state and brainstorming issues in higher education.
