Cline Library to unveil new Learning Studio

The new learning studio in the Cline Library

Cline Library will celebrate the opening of its new learning space with an open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, in room 249 of the library.

The transformed second floor space features a highly configurable workspace for classes of up to 70 students and is fitted with advanced digital technology.

Inside the Learning Studio instructors can push content from a lectern computer or their own device to any or all the displays throughout the room interface. Student work also can be shared from one group’s display to the displays of other groups around the room.

The studio also offers writeable glass surfaces, fixed and mobile tables for flexible group work, video conferencing and on-site technology support.

NAU faculty teaching in the Learning Studio will be present at the open house to provide demonstrations of how they are using the technology in their classes.

Learning Studio classes are held weekdays during the semester. To schedule the space, contact (928) 523-6809 or email Library.AssemblyHall@nau.edu.
