The NAU Police Department is supporting next weekend’s Dump the Drugs event where outdated and unused prescription and over-the-counter drugs can be disposed of properly.
The Federal Drug Enforcement Administration is hosting this nationwide event, aimed at protecting against improperly discarded medications that can make their way into the water supply.
Collections will be taken from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Flagstaff Police Department parking lot, 911 E. Sawmill Road.
