The NAU Bookstore will celebrate Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day on Friday, Nov. 21, with book signings from faculty and prominent local authors from noon to 2 p.m.
The authors featured are:
- Janine Schipper, professor of sociology and social work, signing copies of her new book Disappearing Desert: The Growth of Phoenix and the Culture of Sprawl.
- Sylvester Allred, biological sciences lecturer, signing copies of Rascal and other titles.
- Michael Ghiglieri and Thomas Myers, signing copies of Over the Edge: Death in the Grand Canyon.
- Elias Butler and Thomas Myers, signing copies of National Outdoor Book Award winner Grand Obsession, Harvey Butchart and the Exploration of the Grand Canyon.
