Campus fitness program encourages physical activity for employees

Campus Recreation Services is again hosting its Lose to Gain program this summer, challenging NAU employees to commit to a fitness program for the summer to help improve their health and wellness.

The program runs June 6 through Aug. 11 and gives participants access to small-group training programs and group exercise classes at the Recreation Center. Program activities are scheduled during lunch hours and after work for maximum convenience.

All NAU employees can participate—a Recreation Center membership is not necessary, but Lose to Gain fees for group exercise classes are waived for Rec Center members. Non-members will pay $50 for access to one group exercise class during both Summer Sessions 1 and 2. The cost to participate in Lose to Gain small-group trainings twice per week is $50 for one summer session or $90 for both sessions.

To take the Lose to Gain program challenge, register at the Recreation Center in the University Union. Information is online or contact Amy.Laxton@nau.edu.
