Two Army Blackhawk helicopters will touch down at NAU this week as part of a field training exercise involving NAU ROTC students.
Weather permitting, the helicopters are scheduled to arrive at NAU’s Hilltop Field on San Francisco Street east of the NAU observatory around 10 a.m. April 12 to pick up about 20 cadets.
The students will join fellow cadets from Arizona State University, University of Arizona, and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Prescott Campus for training at Camp Navajo over the weekend.
The helicopters will return the students to Hilltop Field on April 15 at about 9 a.m.
